How to wash the mold with clothes: 11 ways

Effective ways to remove mold

Onion and lemon
Peel 2 large onions, chop them in a blender to make porridge. Squeeze the juice of 2 lemons, skip through the meat grinder. Combine all components in a homogeneous mass. Spread out the product on a flat surface, apply the gruel on the affected areas locally, cover the top with food film or a bag. Leave on for 25-30 minutes, then remove the mixture. Send the product to the machine, add more powder and conditioner, set the desired temperature mode (see the label on the inside of the product). Do not worry about the smell of onions, lemon neutralizes it completely. Dry clothes in the open air.

Milk and borax
The method is good in that it is suitable for delicate fabrics. Combine in equal quantities (50 gr.) Nonfat milk, borax powder, vinegar and lemon juice. Apply the mixture to separate areas, cover with food film, wait 40 minutes. After time, blot the composition with cosmetic discs, wash the thing with your hands several times.

Bleaching agents
In specialized stores sold universal bleach, which is suitable for all types of fabrics and any color clothing. The most common are "Vanish" and "Domestos". Laundry soap

To prepare the solution, rub on a grater half a bar of laundry soap (the concentration of the active substance should be in the range of 60-72%), then pour chips with 1.3 liters of warm water. Stir, wait for dissolution, soak the thing, leave for half an hour. For the treatment of white things, it is recommended to increase the amount of soap to 2/3 of the bar. After soaking, wash your clothes with your hands or use a typewriter.

Turn on the iron, wait for heating, then iron the thing for 10 minutes. Shake off the remnants of chalk, place the clothes in the machine and turn on the intensive mode.

Ammonia
Take a test to understand how the fabric will behave. Apply ammonia on a cotton swab, treat a small area, leave for 20 minutes. If everything is normal, proceed to the removal of mold. Cover the affected tissue with a small amount of ammonia, wait 10 minutes. Rinse with clean water. If the result is incomplete, carry out the procedure, observing the exposure time.

Chlorine-containing drugs
The method is suitable for removing mold from white things from natural fibers, which are amenable to high-temperature processing. The Perox, Whiteness, Domestos bleachers have proven themselves well. To prepare the solution, dilute the bleach at the rate of 30 ml. 1.2 liters of cold water. Vinegar
Do not confuse acetic essence with acetic acid solution, they have completely different concentrations. In order to remove the mold by this method, you will need table vinegar, in which the concentration of the active substance does not exceed 9%. Pour 1 liter of warm water into the basin, pour in 45 ml. vinegar and 25 ml. glycerin, soak clothes, wrap the container with food film, wait 25 minutes. You can also process the item locally, while it is necessary to increase the exposure time by 5-10 minutes. After soaking, rub the clothes with tar or household soap and send them to the machine. Dry in the shade in the fresh air.

Boric acid

The tool is available in liquid form in the form of an alcohol solution. To prepare the composition for removing mold, it is necessary to dilute 35 ml. boric acid in 1 liter of water, then apply the tool to certain areas of the product. If a large area is affected, soak the whole thing. Leave for 1 hour, then lock the clothes with your hands and rinse in a typewriter. Boric acid not only removes mold, it penetrates deep into the structure of the tissue, preventing further development of the fungus. If the result is incomplete, repeat the manipulation.

Turpentine
Moisten a cosmetic swab in turpentine, wipe the areas infected with mold. Sprinkle on top of baby talc without fragrances or white cosmetic clay. Cover with a sheet of glossy paper, turn on the iron and iron the product for 7-10 minutes. Remove excess from clothes, carry out a machine wash with addition of a conditioner. The method is suitable for white and colored things from any kind of fabric.

Preventive action

After removing the mold, do not allow it to reappear. To do this, follow the practical guidelines for care and storage.
